• SUNDAY, APRIL 15: SISTER SPIT-The Next Generation. FREE EVENT The Sister Spit Ramblin' Roadshow rides again--performance art, slam poetry, spoken word, and art from some of the nations premier female artists and authors The event is free, but tickets can be reserved in advance to ensure you have a seat. To reserve your ticket or for more information, please contact PRISM@nau.edu.
• WEDNESDAY, APRIL 18: NATIONAL DAY of SILENCE. Be silent for the day so that gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender members of your community don't have to be. By being silent you are bringing awareness to the silence imposed upon people because of their sexuality, often out of fear for their own safety. Getting involved is easy; simply pick up a sign from outside the PRISM office (room 203 upstairs in the University Union) to wear for the day stating why you are being silent. For more information contact PRISM@nau.edu. This event is a national occurrence and not directly associated with Take My Voice.
• WEDNESDAY, APRIL 18: join us to BREAK THE SILENCE at the end of the day with Flagstaff's first PRIDE MARCH. This is part of this month's Proud Out Loud celebrations, so dress for the occasion in your loudest/brightest outfit. The march will start at 5pm on South Campus. We will meet next to the Silver Fries (outside DuBois). After the march, there will be speakers and chance to get to know other members of your community, and celebrate diversity with your friends. • Take back the night: Ribbons and flyers bring your friends. Monday, April 16th meet at student union at 6pm.
• Kaelen's Birthday was yesterday! Vegan Milk and Cookies all around!
• Jasmine will attend the homecoming meeting at 5pm today.
